STOVE & OVEN PROBLEMS

DOESN’T TURN ON

For an electric stove doesn’t start, first be sure the stove power cord is plugged in and all circuit breakers are on. You will want to check the pilot light on gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in or if the pilot light is on in the oven, then some other part will need to be fixed. The reason for the issue could be an surface element, infinite switch, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER WON’T HEAT

A stove or burner that doesn’t heat does not do much good. Your oven does not heat when there is a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is when an igniter will glow but does not light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We will determine whether we are able to repair these parts or if we need to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

Modern self-cleaning ovens are known to experience door problems. The door doesn’t open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door closure, thermostat and seal to identify why the door will not open and then we complete the repair in order to put an end to the issue.
